With the snow finally melting, the enduro MTB season in the Pyrenees officially kicked off with an incredible team from Norway: Team Skytta.
We picked up the 6 riders at Barcelona Airport and set off on a 4-day enduro adventure, becoming the first group to ride the trails around Cerdanya Valley in the 2016 season.
This is just a glimpse of how their MTB dreams turned into reality.
From Barcelona to the Trails: First Contact Ride
We started the trip in Barcelona, setting up the bikes and heading straight to the trails of Parc de Collserola.
This first 3-hour ride was all about:
As often happens with Norwegian riders… they were even stronger than expected.
Into the Pyrenees: Peace Before the Action
After the first ride, we transferred to the heart of the Pyrenees.
The group stayed in a peaceful country house, surrounded by nature — the perfect contrast before the intensity of the riding days ahead.
Soon, it was time for action.

Uplift Enduro in Baridà: Flow, Switchbacks & Big Descents
The first full day in the mountains took place in the Baridà area, with 3 uplift-assisted runs.
The day included:
After lunch on a sunny terrace, the day ended with a relaxing session in thermal baths — the perfect recovery after big riding.

Epic Conditions: Mud, Snow and Pure Adventure
Day three brought changing weather and real adventure.
At 1800m altitude, the first trails were still covered in snow. But the team decided to stick to the plan.
The result:
By lunchtime, the sun came out and turned the day into a perfect riding experience.
In the afternoon, some riders even chose to skip the transfer and pedal along the Segre river singletrack — a great bonus ride.

Final Day: Cadí Natural Park & the Legendary Gonec Trail
The last day started with a quick bike repair (thanks to Esports Iris in Puigcerdà — a real pit stop moment).
Originally planned for the French side, weather conditions led us instead to the stunning Serra del Cadí Natural Park.
Highlights:
To finish the trip, one last uplift to 1900m delivered a final freeride descent overlooking the entire valley — the perfect “see you soon” ride.

More Than Riding: A Shared Experience
This trip was about much more than enduro riding.
It was about:
At MTB Dreams, we believe bikes are the foundation of unforgettable experiences.
A Special Thank You to Team Skytta
We truly hope the team enjoyed this experience as much as we did.
